Update
For Easter Chris sent Coleman and I to Utah. We visited our family and had a fun time hanging out with everyone. Grandma made sure that Coleman was all decked out for Easter Sunday complete with an Easter bucket full of toys and goodies. He posed for Easter pics with his new toy car. The weather was awesome! The grass was already getting green, the mountains were more beautiful than ever, with their snow caps on! Coleman's uncles loved hanging out with him, teaching him how to dance, play nicely with the doggies, and how to 4-wheel. My pregnant sister Kimberly and my mom both had their birthdays while we were there. Isn't Kimberly cute showing off her baby belly!? Grandpa did a lot with Coleman too, but for some reason there are no pictures of them hanging out...but they did play outside a lot. Coleman had fun in the sand at the park trying out his new shovel. Now, to our surprise, Chris was at home in Oklahoma moving us into a new 4 bedroom 2 bath apartment!!! We had no idea that this is why he wanted us out of town for a few days, but what a sweetie! We love the new place. It's roomy and comfortable, and Coleman and I owe him a big THANKS because he moved everything in and set up mostly everything so we wouldn't have the stress of moving again. He's amazing! We miss Utah and everyone already, but we'll see you all soon, and we're glad to be home with daddy!

Another Day
I have to apologize to Chris because I know some mornings I wake up super grumpy! Like I did today. I sometimes dread the thought of rolling out of bed for yet another day, knowing exactly what is going to happen, exactly when it will happen, and exactly how I will deal with it. I had a break down yesterday after being completely frustrated, claustrophobic (our apt is quite small) and just felt like nothing I did was working! I try to start dinner earlier and earlier, so it will be yummy and ready for when Chris gets home from school, I try to stay on top of the laundry, the dishes, the house, Coleman's messes, and keep myself done up (it feels better than pjs all day). Then, the rolls don't rise, the food burns, the dryer breaks, Coleman breaks our television, the bathroom floor is flooded yet again (because Coleman opens the shower curtain during my sane moment to shower) I don't have time for makeup, most of Coleman's breakfast, lunch and dinners end up on the floor, and then Coleman throws his sippy-cup on the floor, bursting it open, followed by grape juice staining everything! *Sigh* That's usually my day. Different day, different juice, but you get the drift. Full of "No, no, Coleman." "Don't climb on that." "Let mommy go to the potty, close the door!" We are usually walking on top of each other with only two small rooms and a small living space connected to the "kitchen." And my sweet, little guy never loses patience with me! Since the weather has been nicer (78' yesterday) I've been leaving the door open to our patio space for Coleman to roam around on. I swept it clean, put up two camping chairs, got out my flower pots, and put some of his toys out there. It's been nice! We also went with family, Kael, a cousin, and his mom to the Zoo yesterday and I could have stayed there all day! I probably enjoyed being out more than the boys! So, waking up today was tough..I grumbled after I heard Coleman waking up, didn't want to have morning prayer with Chris, but I forced myself, and then I turned over in bed and slept some more. Who knows how long Coleman was in his crib playing. Can someone say "attitude adjustment!" Yeah, I know I need one. So, to make up for my sour spirits I packed up Coleman in the stroller and we walked 2.5 miles to the nearest park and played and played. That is, after another morning of cleaning, wiping up the wet bathroom floor, saying "no" at least 100 times, cleaning Coleman's breakfast mess, and a load of laundry.

"That's one small bite for man, one giant apple for mankind."
After Coleman and I took our walk this evening, I sat him on the table to finish a phone conversation. I was holding on to him but not paying much attention.
After I hung up, I noticed "mister independent" munching on an apple! So I had to grab my camera because he has never done that. He usually doesn't eat them when I offer. Plus, he only has 6 little teeth so I couldn't believe he was munching away, let alone, knowing how to eat one whole. I asked, "What are you doing, silly boy?" He answered with offering me some of his apple.
Then he got really camera shy....
and continued eating his apple.
Now, I know most of you are thinking this is no big deal, but I live a simple life, and he is my joy.

GIRL!!!
My sister is having a baby girl! Yeeha! I am excited to have a pretty princess in the family!
Heimlich Maneuver
To set the scene: Sunday started off as usual...got up, got myself ready for church, got Coleman ready, Chris got ready, we all were ready....and then headed to church. Sacrament meeting is first, so we found ourselves a little pew a few rows from the back and nestled in. Chris and I were both thinking this would be the one sunday of few interruptions by Coleman, and we might make it through sacrament without an outburst or injury from the Coleman-buddy. The sacrament bread had just passed our row and Coleman was acting very well, eating his little corn-puff-baby-food thingys. As he was on my lap I heard him screech a little bit, then sucked in air, but never breathed out. I flipped him around and his face was beet red and little tears were coming out of his eyes, but he wasn't breathing. I found myself freaking out with terror trying to give him the 'ol "adult" style Heimlich. Chris stood up and yelled "He's choking!!! He's choking!!!" Coleman was still not breathing and my feeble attempt to dislodge the cereal wasn't working. Then we heard from behind us, "Here, give him to me!!!" Gabe, a dentist in our ward was running up the isle, and like a ninja, grabbed Coleman, flung him upside down, face forward and popped him on the back with what seemed like one good karate chop! The cereal came flying out of his mouth, followed by vomit. He started crying hysterically! Chris and I both grabbed Coleman and ran out of the meeting. (The deacons had no idea what was going on and were still proceeding with the sacrament even though the bishop was signaling them to stop, funny boys). We sat in the foyer and thanked Gabe who came out with us. He joked about how he had just re-certified in CPR and other first aid a few days earlier. GOOD THING!!! In the panic of the moment I had completely forgotten about the infant heimlich maneuver! Countless members came into the foyer to check on us, and to assure us that there was nothing to be emberassed about, but we weren't about to go back into the meeting. We just had a normal, fussy, noisy, chasing Coleman everywhere, sunday! We love him and are happy to have those days!
