2 years..my oh my!
For a Valentine's gift to my mom Chris and I gave her a photo shoot with Coleman. He had his 2 year old pictures taken as well, and she snapped a few of me being pregnant. My mom was visiting for his birthday, so we thought it would be an awesome idea, and it was! BRC Photography (Becky) is AMAZZAZZING! The photo shoot turned out awesome, and was actually fun given the fact that Coleman didn't sit still much. But, it made for great pictures. Thanks Becky!

Good to go
After several different appointments the past two weeks, everything is good to go with the baby. For some reason I'm still measuring 7 weeks further along, but ultrasounds and blood tests, urine samples and check-ups all confirm the baby and I are A+ healthy and right on schedule to deliver in June. Weird! I chalk it up to ample living space for the fetus, and an overly large uterus to make me feel super great about looking 36 weeks pregnant, but still having 2 months to go. (not) Ah, the joys of living with a pregnant body. So, if I gain 60 lbs with this one it's not because I tried. I have no idea what's up. So enjoyable. Too bad I'm not 7 weeks further along because I'm excited to have this little guy!

7 weeks bigger!?
So, I went to my OB appointment today. I'm 27 weeks, but measured 34 weeks. My OB was a bit alarmed, and so was I. I knew I looked bigger than normal for this stage. Plus I'm weighing as much as I did when I delivered Coleman (and I have one day less than three months to go). Great! Now what? Well, I have to get another ultrasound at the hospital women's center, and of course the glucose testing to rule out any possibilities other than he's sticking out and making me measure large. I pray it's not toxemia or gestational diabetes, because I don't want to go on a diet right now, and there is no way I'd survive bed rest! However, I do want a healthy baby. Can I pull my hair out now and order a double shot of ice-cream?

Potty
Lately Coleman will say "Potty" and hold his diaper in a crouched stance while I watch him asking, "Coleman, do you need to go potty?" He'll smile and run to the bathroom door. If any of you know him, he just turned two, and still can't get enough of playing in the toilet water (bleh)! So, I politely ignore his requests to "use the potty" because he normally just wants to flush it and chant bye-bye or throw toys in the bowl or something boyish and toddlerish. Well, I finally gave in on Saturday and took his clothes and diaper off and sat him down on the toilet. He didn't look confused or worried at all. He seemed very comfortable and content that I finally gave in to his request to "potty" but he sat there doing nothing. I sat on the edge of the tub looking at him smugly while saying, "You said potty, dude. Time to go potty. This is what we do when we potty. C'mon, go potty. If you wanted in here, you need to go pee pee and pooh pooh." Then, he peed! He actually went pee on the toilet. What?! Yeah. He hasn't since, but he was so proud of himself! He jumped right down and flushed too!
